- There can be a lot of blood discharge during the period
- There can be less discharge of blood than the usual amount
- You will not get your period on certain months
- Even though the normal number of days is 28, you might get your period even in 20 days.
How to get your menstrual cycle back to normal?
- Make sure your weight matches your height. Otherwise, your body will not be balanced.
- Always try to have a balanced diet including fresh vegetables, fruits.
- Exercise daily. Then it is easy to handle your body.
- Try to reduce stress as much as possible. Read books, listen to music to relax.
What are some of the things you can do at home to make your menstrual cycle regular again?
- Mix a spoon full of bee honey with some aloe vera juice and drink it every morning before breakfast. But do not take this during your period.
- Eat raw beet root. Since it contains a high amount of iron and folic acid, it helps to increase the blood level in the body.
- Eating pineapples is also something which you can do easily at home. Since pineapple contains the bromelain enzyme it helps to increase the blood cells in the body. Bur be careful and do not eat too much pineapple because that will result in excess blood discharge.
- Coriander seeds which is an all-rounder also helps with the menstrual cycle. If you can drink boiled coriander seed water thrice a day, that too will give good results.
- Doing yoga at least 5 times a week will also help to regulate your menstrual cycle and it can be done easily at the comfort of your own home.
- Eating ripe papaya will also give good results.
- Fennel seeds that are used to enhance the taste in food is also a good remedy. Put a few fennel seeds to a glass water and let it soak overnight. Drink this water the next morning.
- Drinking fruit juices also helps with periods.
- Although we eat carrot, we have not really thought of drinking it. Blend a carrot and some water and drink it like a juice.
- Adding a spoonful of turmeric to a glass of warm milk and drinking it in the morning will also help.
